Eclipse Travel Around the World Edition

Summer Edition Mints

The concept of Travel Around the World serves to create intimate and lifelong memories. We took travel destinations and developed graphics based on their most memorable and recognizable points. To capture each city’s heartwarming essence, we used modes of transportation that are authentic to each location to create a story around the lesser-known and more personal secrets of the city that only those who truly have or truly want to explore can appreciate.

The Eclipse Travel Around the World Edition is a unique collection of mints that showcases transportation and landmarks authentic to different travel destinations. With simple yet modern illustrations, this design captures the essence of each city and creates an emotional attachment with the brand. The collection aims to evoke a sense of nostalgia and create a connection with the consumer through authentic storytelling and the capture of experiences of the little things that people can relate to.

The packaging for the Eclipse Travel Around the World Edition is made from aluminum tin, providing a sleek and durable container for the mints. The dimensions of the tin are L76 mm x W40mm x H22mm, with a weight of 34g. The design team, led by the Interbrand Shanghai Consumer Brand Team, worked on this project from October 2012 to January 2013 in Shanghai, and the collection was launched in Hong Kong in the summer of 2013.

The Eclipse Travel Around the World Edition was a successful endeavor, resulting in an immediate 20% sales growth during the launch period. The collection continues the brand's momentum as the best-selling brand in pressed mints in Hong Kong. Each year, Eclipse Summer Edition lines drive the business through unique and attractive designs, and this new design aims to promote collection and engagement with the brand.

The Eclipse Travel Around the World Edition was recognized for its excellence and creativity, receiving the Bronze A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category in 2014. This award is bestowed upon outstanding and creatively ingenious designs that authenticate experience and resourcefulness. The design exhibits strong technical and creative skills and contributes to quality of life improvements, making the world a better place.
